Atlus arbeitet an einem neuen Titel mit dem klangvollen Namen "Catherine". Vieleicht ist es etwas weit her geholt das Spiel als "Persona Spin-Off" zu bezeichnen, aber bisher ist zumindest bekannt, dass Vincent in der PSP Version von Persona 3 als Eater-Egg-Character auftaucht und das Design wirkt auch schon sehr ähnlich.
"While the game's name is Catherine, the main character is actually a 32-year-old salaryman named Vincent (voiced by Koichi Yamadera). Catherine (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro) is a stylish 22-year-old girl who apparently has the charms of a young girl.
The game begins when Vincent, a vegetarian who has no ambition in work or love (I'm not sure if he's literally a "vegetarian," or if the term "vegetarian" is some sort of metaphor for his personality) runs into the mysterious Catherine one day. At night, he has nightmares."
Catherine soll allerdings kein RPG werden sondern ein Action Adventure mit Horror-Elementen. Ausserdem solls wohl explizit ein Titel "für Erwachsene" werden. Erotische Sequenzen inclusive!
Finde ich sehr interessant, ein Erotic-Thriller ist etwas was man in der Spielwelt noch nicht erlebt hat.

Auch interessant: Der Titel soll auch der Engineentwicklung für ein richtiges HD Persona dienen und da Catherine sowohl auf PS3 wie auch auf 360 erscheint ist wohl damit zu rechnen, dass auch Persona 5 auf beiden Platformen erscheinen wird.
Wär jetzt nur noch gut zu wissen obs der Titel in die westlichen Gefilde schaft. Da es aber Atlus ist bin ich da doch recht zuversichtlich.

Sehr abgefahren. Und die Engine schaut auch sehr gut aus, sehr passend zum Stil!
