Bandai will develop a PlayStation 2 game based on the upcoming tentatively-titled anime series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, the company indicated today in a release detailing the show's various merchandising tie-ins. The game is to be released after December, during the show's run on television -- the first episode is scheduled to air in October. More details are expected to be released in late August, at Bandai's "Gundam World 2002" event, so look forward to updates at that time.
